    A flouring mill built in the early 1500s. Both the structure and decoration have been maintained to provide a taste of the 16th century with the comfort of the 20th, all in a pleasant, cosy atmosphere. Located in the gorge of the River Argos. Murcia, Spain. El Molino is surrounded by walnut trees and fruit trees of all kinds. The spring water supplying the fountains gives the patios and porches a sense of refreshing coolness. Garden area and swimming pool. Located in the Murcia highlands at the foot of the Sierra del Gavilán, the mill stands in a totally natural setting surrounded by a picturesque countryside where much of the flora and fauna of the Murcia north-west can be discovered. The area lies in the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz, a town steeped in history and tradition.

    INTERESTING PLACES

    The castle-Sanctuary of the Holy Cross, important place of pilgrimage for the catholics (2003 is a Jubileum year). The springs of El Marqués, shadowed nice park. The Museo de la Soledad with important pieces from the different cultures in these lands from prehistoric times.

    How to arrive to El Molino del Río

    By the road C-330 from Caravaca to Granada, 10 km far from Caravaca exit to Benablón. The Hotel is only 4 km far from this small village and the road is conveniently indicated.
    PLEASE NOTE that google roadmap does not show the access to the Hotel from Camino Viejo de Archivel (CR-III-5) and offer a wrong approach. Nevertheless, on the Hybrid presentation, you can clearly see it.
