DESCRIPTION
Nestled between the green meadows of Cantabria, in the small town of Rasines, is situated our house.
La Balsa is a beautiful mansion with a capacity for 14 people. Ideal to accommodate large groups, the house has been restored following the guidelines of traditional architecture.
Designed for relaxation and comfort of the traveler, the house was restored with quality materials.
The house is part of a farm with an area of 50,000 m2. Multitude of fruit trees around it and in turn endows it with amazing views.
The house sleeps up to fourteen people. The stones rise façade dating back over 100 years old. Recently renovated maintaining its original charm by respecting the traditional architecture of the area.
The environment around us is formed by the Ason river valley famous for its salmon fishing and the cascade of his birth. Ason River is one of the major rivers in Cantabria, which rises in a spectacular waterfall in the mountains down to Arredondo to turn east and cross the valley between hills populated by oak trees. In the town of Ramales de la Victoria receives its main tributary, the Gándara, found on its shores after the best salmon preserves the region. After passing by Ampuero flows into the bay now one of the most valuable wetlands.
