DESCRIPTION
Self catering holiday cottage located in the upper part of the town of Benllera, just 30 km from León and more than a thousand meters over the sea level. Surrounded by vast pine forests make it an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature.
The house is fully equipped for 4 people. Provides heating and hot water.
The bedrooms, situated on the upper floor, are decorated with rustic and functional furniture. One bedroom has double bed and the other with two beds and the possibility of putting a cot.
The house has two bathrooms, one with jacuzzi bath, hair dryer and mirror. The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, ceramic hob, extractor hood, microwave, toaster, juicer, coffee maker and all utensils needed for a comfortable stay. The lounge has a large and comfortable sofa and cozy fireplace. The courtyard which gives access to housing has a wide wooden porch, barbecue, garden furniture and potted plants from the area.
The house has safe box, first-aid kit, iron and ironing board, many board games, tourist information, reference books, flat screen TV and international channels and DVD player.
In the surroundings there are interesting places such as the dam Selgas Ordás where fishing or watching birds, Piedrasecha and its route of the Calderone, the regions of Oman, Luna, and Babia Órbigo and El Faedo - beech forest - the famous caves or Valporquero, Pajares ski resort or even the wonderful beaches of Asturias, only 50 minutes drive by motorway.
Magdalena, just 5 km from Benllera, is the largest town in the region, with direct access to the AP-66 that runs from Asturias to Leon where it joins with the A-66 to Benavente and here at A-6 that connects Madrid to La Coruña.
To arrive at the Cottage, from the AP-66 take the exit to La Magdalena - La Robla and follow the road direction LL-623 Leon. Just 5 km you will find the detour to the right towards Benllera.
If you prefer not to come by highway, from Leon take the CL-623 direction Villablino and 28 km to the left you will find the turn off to Benllera. Once in Benllera take the last street on the right hand side and we are at the end of the street.
Activities: walking routes, horse riding, mountain biking or buggies in the area, climbing, abseiling and canyoning in the summits of Piedrasecha, water sports on the nearby dam of Barrios de Luna, hunting and fishing in the river Órbigo, guided nature walks and performed by qualified personnel, golf in the vicinity of León. In the region of Órbigo there is a field to play paintball.
If you prefer relaxation, we have an agreement with a SPA near Benllera with advantageous rates for our guests.
