DESCRIPTION
La CASONA is located in a small village, very nearby to Alba de Tormes, monumental village in which the traveler can visit the Castle of the Dukes of Alba, the convent of the Annunciation where is kept the sepulcher of Saint Teresa and the churches of San Juan de la Cruz and of Santiago.
Also, it can be practiced all kinds of sports as: the trekking by the banks of the river Tormes, the riding in a next riding school, the sports fishing, the aquatic sports in the nearby Saint swamp Teresa, the canoeing in the school of Alba and the swimming in the heated pool.
The proximity to the city of Salamanca (15 km), makes easy to the traveler to visit one of the cities of Castilla and León with greater number of historical monuments: Cathedrals, churches, museums, the university, the casino or to enjoy the commemorative acts of the 250 anniversary the grand Square.
In this village, as in Alba de Tormes, proliferate the good restaurants and bars where the traveler can taste the rich typical dishes of Salamanca, as the famous pinchos and the deliciouds saussages and hams of this area.
