The Youth Municipal Lodging La Palaína is in the village of Valdevacas y Guijar 35 km away from the city of Segovia, in a privileged natural environment.
La Palaína is equipped with:
-24 beds. Two twin bedded rooms, a room with capacity for four people and another with capacity for 16 people.
-Two full bathroom, with single showers.
-A wide totally equipped kitchen with all the necessary white goods.
-A great dining-room/living-room with French fireplace.
-Porch.
-Green areas.
-All the lodging with central heating.
The fauna and flora around is very variated and representative of the plateau of Castilla. In this region can can be found Junipers, Ash-trees, Willows, Elms... Boars, Roe-deers, Foxes, Badgers, black Vultures (with a close breeding-place), Eagles, Kites, black Storks, pilgrim Hawks...
