El Albergue Municipal Juvenil La Palaína se encuentra en el municipio segoviano de Valdevacas y Guijar a unos 35 kilómetros de la ciudad de Segovia, en un entorno natural privilegiado.
La Palaína cuenta con:
- 30 plazas. Tres habitaciones cuádruples y otra con capacidad para 18 personas.
- Dos cuartos de baño completos, con sus duchas individuales.
- Una amplia cocina totalmente equipada con todos los electrodomésticos necesarios.
- Un gran salón comedor con chimenea francesa.
- Porche.
- Espacios verdes.
- Todo el albergue disfruta de calefacción por emisores de calor.
La fauna y flora circundante es muy diversa y a la vez típica de la meseta de Castilla y León. En esta zona nos podemos encontrar con: Enebros, Sabinas, Fresnos, Sauces, Olmos... Jabalíes, Corzos, Zorros, Tejónes, Buitres negros ( la zona dispone de un criadero ), Águilas, Milanos, Cigüeñas negras, Halcones peregrinos...
The Youth Municipal Lodging La Palaína is in the village of Valdevacas y Guijar 35 km away from the city of Segovia, in a privileged natural environment.
La Palaína is equipped with:
-24 beds. Two twin bedded rooms, a room with capacity for four people and another with capacity for 16 people.
-Two full bathroom, with single showers.
-A wide totally equipped kitchen with all the necessary white goods.
-A great dining-room/living-room with French fireplace.
-Porch.
-Green areas.
-All the lodging with central heating.
The fauna and flora around is very variated and representative of the plateau of Castilla. In this region can can be found Junipers, Ash-trees, Willows, Elms... Boars, Roe-deers, Foxes, Badgers, black Vultures (with a close breeding-place), Eagles, Kites, black Storks, pilgrim Hawks...

Gates of the wall. Old jail. Main Square. City Hall. Zuloaga Museum. Palaces and churches and a well preserved popular architecture.
More than this, there is interesting places, momuments, shops, museums etc. in all the small villages around, as Arevalillo, Turégano, Muñoveros, El Cubillo or Caballar.

From Madrid, N1 (Burgos) exit Cerezo de Abajo. C112 until Muñoveros.
From the A6 (La Coruña), exit Villalba. CL601 until La Granja and Torrecaballeros. N110, Sotosalbos and La Cuesta.
MEALS & DRINKS
In Pedraza or Turégano, several restaurants offers the typical roasted porks or lambs.

The Association ESPAVILA is exempted of VAT.
The Rate of the full Lodging is 522.00 Eur/weekend. Please, consult the price per room.
The children until two years do not pay.
Additional prices:
-Sheets: 4 Eur.
-Pets: 3 Eur/day.
Reservation: deposit of the 30% has to be paid a week before the arrival. The total value of the reservation will be paid at the moment of the arrival. The deposit is lost if the reservation is cancelled. The deposit will be returned through banking transfer the following week to the exit if the facilities are found in the same conditions of use that before the arrival.
The fuelwood is included in the prices. |
