Castronuño is in the middle of the NATURAL RESERVE for Birds in the Duero River. From the POINTVIEW you can see the sunset; storks, young eagles, lapwings and other birds sing like in a symphony; the river takes lilac and mauve colours and it seems like something is going to break at that time. From the OBSERVATORY in the Centre for Documentation you can watch birds in the lake. You also can ask for information at the Centre. Only you have to lie down on the ground, close your eyes and hear the trill of the birds and the light breeze which swings the branches of the black poplars. The direct contact with the earth gets us plenty of an unusual energy and, when you open your eyes and discover the blue sky, you realize that we come from a refreshing journey and, when we get up, it seems like we feel happier.
