DESCRIPTION
Pla del Castell II has a maximum capacity for 6. There is a bedroom with double bed and another bedroom connected to the large in another height, where there is another double bed only for sleeping. In the lounge also there is a sofa which converts into a bed for 2. There is a bathroom, and yard from where you can see the mountain, equiped with garden furniture. The house is equiped with heaters in all the rooms, and a fuelwood stove in the lounge, totally equiped with sheets, blankets, towels and kitchen utensils.
The house is in the beautifull village of Albarca, at 820 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Natural Park of the Montsant. From here you can make many excursions by foot or car, very easy to do. From the town there are many paths which take you to the hermitages of the area, recommended to visit and also to other picturesque views. You can also visit the lake of Siurana where you may bathe and hire canoes and also visit the rivers of the area where natural ponds form and also swim or spend the day. All the towns in the area have public swimming pools where there are always activities going on for the whole family. There are also horse back riding, 4x4, flights, paragliding and quads, all these activities if you wish we can inform you upon arrival and of the many guided excursions suitable for the whole family.
If you are more interested in cultural activities, we are very close to the Poblet Monastry and the "Ruta del Cister" It`s also very interesting to visit the "Cartoixa d`Escaladei". We are in an area famous for it`s excelent wines with "denominación de origen Priorat" where the wine salones, (wine manufacturers) offer guided tours and wine tastings.
