DESCRIPTION
The farm El Ferrajón conserves all the charm of its origins, which tell us a beautiful legend. They say that it was built in the beginningof the 18th century by order of a young Christian landowner, Amador Gutierres, in order to create a household for him and his beloved, a young Moorish daughter of one of the families that managed to escape from the expulsion decreed by Felipe III in 1609.
Masía el Ferrajón has two separate facilities: the main house and the bioclimatic rooms.
The main lodge houses the public areas - a TV lounge, a breakfast room and a dining room- and five rooms evoking a rustic style without neglecting the proper comforts of a luxury rural establishment. All rooms come with a private bathroom with hydromassage fittings (shower/bathtub) which use mineral water extracted directly from the estate\s well as well as a hairdryer. They offer king-size beds and are equipped with an LCD TV.
Moreover, Masía el Ferrajón is committed to eco-tourism and it has recently opened four new bioclimatic bedrooms whose roof is covered with grass keeping the best of both cold and heat and facilitating energy savings. Enjoy superb views of the mountains from the bed itself or shower with the feeling of finding you in the great outdoors in our new “garden shower". These rooms are equipped with king-size beds, minibar/fridge, a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. All bioclimatic bedrooms feature a private terrace.
Furthermore, individually adjustable air conditioning and centrally regulated heating are provided in all accommodation as standard.
This hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, including a children\s swimming area, with a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Guests can also relax in the hot tub and numerous facilities are on offer to guests, such as tickets for Bioparc, badminton, hiking, ball games, mountain biking (charges apply), and Paleta Front. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the nearby El Bosque golf course, which is just a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Also MotoGP fans can visit the International Circuit of Cheste, which is a 5-minute drive.
In addition, Masía el Ferrajón is one of the most exclusive places for celebrations, banquets, parties and all kinds of events, with capacity for up to five hundred people.
