Interesting cross-border routes, as well as Roman and pre-Roman remains. One must not forget to visit the towns of Valencia de Alcántara, Marvao and Castelo da Vide, as well as the numerous dolmens. Mediterranean climate, with Atlantic influence. Oaks, chestnut-colored and all sorts of fruit trees.
