LOCATION
Located in the Municipal District of Garganta la Olla, one of the oldest villages in the region of La Vera, situated in a deep valley of the Sierra de Tormantos, its roman name "Ad Fauces" (Between throats) describes quite well his situation in a mountain slope, surrounded by forest of chestnut and oak wich create a special microclimate with mild temperatures.
10 minutes from the monastery of Yuste (final resting place of Emperor Charles V) and in the heart of the Comarca de la Vera.
HOME
IS A COUNTRY HOUSE located in the area where he settled an old Celtiberian and Roman town. Its construction dates from the last of the nineteenth century, initially used as a nursing home and later as a manor. For rehabilitation have been observed its original structure using stone and wood as building materials

LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES
La Comarca de la Vera is located between the Sierra de Gredos and Tiétar River Valley, the main tributary of the Tagus. It is an area of mild climate and deciduous forests where the average annual temperature is about 22 degrees, this brings the possibility to practice all kinds of outdoor sports in any season, since its coveted of routes on foot and horseback (black marketeers route and route of Charles V) to mycological rides in the fall. And, of course, cultural visits to the monastery of Yuste final resting place of Emperor Charles V, and visits to the mountain architecture of the people of La Vera, with traditions as Los Empalaos of Valverde de la Vera, the Pero Palo in Villanueva, Los Escobazos of Jarandilla and a host of festivities that will take travelers back into the past.

CONVENIENT ACCESS TO PROTECTED PARKING .
DRIVING
From Cáceres and Salamanca on the N-630 to Plasencia and from there by the District-501 to the junction of Garganta la Olla, by the same road at 2 km (signpost)
From Seville on the N-630 and from Mérida by NV to Exit 185
From Madrid via the N-V to Exit 185 (Plasencia) and then to 9 km detour to Jaraíz de la Vera, follow the local 501, to the junction of Garganta la Olla.
