Casa do Rio has its own, unique atmosphere, which we would describe as accessible, friendly, open and worldly-wise – characteristics it has in common with its owners.
We aim at offering a new (‘boutique’) Bed & Breakfast experience to our guests – individuals who can appreciate something special, who love modern design, the proximity of nature, cosy restaurants and interesting sights at a reasonable price.
In short, anybody with an open mind to new experiences and with respect for the places visited will feel at ease in Casa do Rio.
After a renovation of more than a year, the guest wing of Casa do Rio has been completed: three modern, stylish apartments are ready and waiting for you. In addition, Casa do Rio boasts various terraces, made of stones from the Rio Alva, providing a magnificent view of the river that flows at only 50 metres past the casa. The river will entice you to a refreshing dive at any moment of the day.
The casa is in the heart of Portugal, the Beiras, where time seems to have been standing still.
