DESCRIPTION
Holiday cottage built in 1990 over the remains of the grandparents‚ house who were muleteers, using the original stones for its construction.
It consists of two floors. In the ground floor it is located the living
room of 60 m2 decorated with the regional stone and brick used in the local constructions, with fireplace and library and games, kitchen of 20 m2 equipped with fridge,
dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, cooking utensils. In
this floor there is also a full equipped bath. In the first floor there are three bedrooms with wood sloping ceiling and beds of 1.50 m each. The furniture is totally restored and hand-painted by owner. Furthermore there is also another single bedroom in this floor and another fully equipped bathroom. Bed linen and towels.
The house has two very sunny porches with views to the garden of 1000 m2
with lawn, trees, and swings. There are mountain bikes.
The holiday cottage is situated in the village of Pradorrey, a cozy and quiet village where you can visit a chapel from the sixteenth century. The first Sunday of the month there is an antiques and craft market.
Communicated by the N6 and A6 highways and 8 km from Astorga you can visit
monuments, Roman roads, or the chocolate museum. In July we celebrate the feast in
honour of the Romans. There are also of cultural interest the Easter holidays and
the famous Night Long in August.
The house is a few meters far from the river where fishing is allowed. You can also go hiking, quad activities or horse-riding through the valleys of the village.
You can even reach walking El Camino de Santiago, and arrive to Castrillo de los Polvazares where you can eat the typical regional dish maragata.
